Hotels in Granada

Granada sits at the foot of the Sierra Nevada and the Alhambra, its most emblematic monument and visited by more than two million people every year.

Located opposite the Alhambra is the Albaicin, crammed with winding narrow streets and alleyways and a bastion of this former Islamic city, as well as the Cuesta del Chapiz, which climbs from the river Darro towards its interior, the most outstanding monument in this zone being the famous Church of San Juan de los Reyes, a former mosque dating back to the thirteenth century.

Granada’s tourism selection is full to the brim with culture, entertainment and, of course, gastronomy. Going round the historic centre to sample the tapas, which are usually offered free of charge when you order a drink, is a pleasure for all palates.

For the tourism of business and congresses, Granada is also in the spotlight. Since the building of the Exhibition and Congress Palace and the Fermasa trade fair complex, in Armilla, the city is now provided with the required transport infrastructure, particularly the airport, which services both national and international destinations.
