In Barcelona art is to be seen everywhere but we should highlight La Pedrera, the Joan Miró Foundation, Park Güell, the Casa Batlló, Pueblo Español, the Columbus Monument viewpoint, the Liceu theatre, finishing off the visit at the city Zoo and Aquarium. SHOPPING IN BARCELONA
Barcelona has a broad and varied range of shops for all tastes and budgets.
The perfect place to buy souvenirs in Barcelona is the famous avenue of La Rambla. Typical gift and souvenir shops are to be found all around this area, selling all manner of objects drawing their inspiration from the city and Gaudi.
The ideal place to buy gastronomic products is the Boqueria market. Another option is in the square of Plaza del Pi, where there is a fair selling traditional local food products during the first and third weekend of every month.
The major luxury brands are to be found in the Born District, in Plaza Catalunya and in Paseo de Gracia.
La Diagonal, the Eixample and the Gràcia District are areas with shops which, above all, are run by trendy young designers.
Furthermore, there are many shopping malls spread throughout the city of Barcelona, which are among the areas attracting the most shoppers.
