The city possesses an important monumental and artistic heritage.
Furthermore, the tourist can visit the Alcazar, the Casa de Pilatos, the University, the Plaza de España, the Maestranza, the Triana quarter or the Tower of Gold among the many other places of interest.
Nowadays, it is also a city open to business tourism. More than a hundred congresses, exhibitions and events confirm it as one of the main business tourism destinations in Spain.
Outstanding among its many facilities is the Exhibition and Congress Palace (FIBES) and the Island of La Cartuja. Added to this is a hotel infrastructure of around 10,000 hotel beds distributed between four and five star hotels, all of which goes towards making it a special destination.
Seville also boasts excellent transport links, outstanding amongst which is an international airport just a few kilometres from the centre and a high speed (AVE) railway station, making Madrid little more than a 2 hour train ride away.
